Mr. Garcia advises the firm’s clients in the areas of tax and estate planning, business succession planning, the preparation of gift and estate tax returns, estate and trust administration, and charitable planning. Mr. Garcia received his law degree in 2010 from the University of Texas at Austin. Mr. Garcia received his bachelor’s degree in Economics, with a minor in Political Science, from Stanford University. He is admitted to practice law in California and is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law (certification by the Board of Legal Specialization of the State Bar of California). Mr. Garcia is a vice chair of the Fiduciary Income Tax Committee of the Taxation Section of the American Bar Association. Mr. Garcia frequently speaks at the American Bar Association’s Tax Section meetings on the topic of current developments in the area of fiduciary income tax. He also regularly speaks and writes for other programs on the topics of tax and estate planning, and estate and trust administration. Mr. Garcia is a member of the California Lawyer’s Association (Trusts and Estates Section) as well as the San Diego County Bar Association (Estate Planning, Trust, and Probate Section).
